The SpacedOut project has
created what is set to become the world's largest scale
model of the Solar System ...
Professional
and amateur astronomers, science teachers, their pupils,
and artists have collaborated to create 18 sites and installations
representing various objects within our Solar System.
This unique and ambitious project will increase public
awareness and understanding of the vastness of space,
and hopefully encourage young people into science-based
studies and careers.
It
is hoped that the culmination of the current project,
it's fully featured website, and future development of
both, will become a unique and valuable national resource
for astronomy and space science.
